Greater Sacramento is one market on paper and about four in practice. The valley floor, the Placer County suburbs along I-80, the Highway 50 corridor out to the foothills, and Yolo across the river all shop differently, and a site that works in Davis is not automatically the right site for Auburn.

I work across all of it — 17 cities in four counties. Most businesses here serve a radius rather than a city, so the build says which towns you actually cover instead of pretending the city line matters to a customer with a leaking pipe.
