Water where it shouldn't be?
A plumber answers the phone, and the price is on the table before the van leaves. If we can't get to you today we say so on the call, not after you have waited all afternoon.

What things actually cost
Honest ranges for the ten jobs we are called out on most. The exact figure depends on access and parts, and you get it in writing before any work starts.
| Drain clearing — tub, sink or toilet | $99–189 |
|---|---|
| Main line clearing, with camera | $240–420 |
| Water heater — 40 gallon, replaced same day | $1,450–1,950 |
| Water heater flush and inspection | $140–190 |
| Tankless water heater install | $3,200–4,600 |
| Burst or leaking pipe repair | $220–580 |
| Toilet replacement, standard unit included | $380–560 |
| Garbage disposal swap | $210–320 |
| Outdoor hose bib replacement | $180–260 |
| Whole-house repipe — 3 bed, PEX | $6,800–11,500 |
No trip charge inside the service area, and no overtime rate after hours or at the weekend. The number you are quoted is the number you pay.
Why a range, and what closes it
A slow drain in a 1970s Roseville ranch and a slow drain in a new build in Fiddyment Farm are not the same job. So we read the system first — pressure at the manifold, where the cleanout is, what the line is made of — and then the range becomes one number.
- The diagnostic happens before the quote, not after the invoice
- Camera footage of the main line goes to you, not just into our notes
- If the honest answer is that it can wait, that is the answer you get
The person who quotes the job does the job
No handoffs, no “the office will call you back”, no second van arriving with a different number. Mornings book by about ten in the summer, so the earlier you call the better the slot — and if it can safely wait until tomorrow we will tell you that and hold the same price.
Book a plumber
One call does it. There is no form, no callback queue and no ticket number — the phone is answered by someone who can tell you what the job costs.
- Describe the noise, the leak or the smell. A plumber is on the other end, so plain words are enough.
- Get the range on the call. Straight off the table above, before anyone is dispatched.
- Approve the written figure on site. Work starts after you have agreed it, not before.
Where we work
South Placer County and the north side of Sacramento. Outside the list, call anyway — we would rather tell you no than keep you waiting.
